Ingredients (for 8 skewers):
900g sirloin steak, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 green capsicums, cut into 1 inch pieces
2 red capsicums, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 large white onion, cut into 1 inch pieces
Equipment
8 Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 20 minutes
Method
Step 1
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Step 2
Combine the steak, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl and mix until the steak is evenly coated.
Step 3
Slide a piece of steak down a skewer, followed by a piece of green capsicum, red capsicum, and onion. Continue until there is a 1-inch gap on the top of the skewer. Repeat with remaining skewers.
Step 4
Grease the surface of the grill by rubbing the grates with an oiled paper towel (use tongs to grip!). Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes with the lid closed, flipping them halfway through. Enjoy!
